Sports Relief 2016
by Mrs K Davies - Wednesday, 2 March 2016, 02:32 PM

Sean McGoldrick

Friday 26th February 2016 saw the launch of Sports Relief 2016 at Archbishop McGrath Catholic High School.

We were very fortunate to have the Commonwealth Boxer Sean McGoldrick, as a Sports Ambassador for Sports Relief, visit and deliver a special assembly to the Lower School. This was followed by a Q&A session.

This year again the whole school will come together to raise funds for Sports Relief on Wednesday 16th March, hosting the Sports Relief Mile around the school grounds and a penalty shoot-out against staff.

In previous years Archbishop McGrath Catholic High School has been in the top 1,500 out of 10,000 schools in the country for the amount of money we have raised. This year we are looking forward to matching or hopefully improving on the amount raised!
